Matt Flynn deciding to GOAT it up can guarantee some QB needy team will overpay him and be stuck with mediocre for a long time

I'd snapsign him over most firstrounders depending on contract etc. he has looked extremly well pretty much everytime I saw him play (twice lol). Sure GB talent helps but he has done a lot of good stuff I haven't seen from guys like Ponder
If we had gotten him instead of Palmer I'd be fistpumping right now...instead I'll have the offseason off

three chances for a dumb team to eff themselves, always nice.

Ravens are run pretty well and Rice has all but confirmed he'll resign with them. The Ravens have a pretty unique (some may say dumb but I think it's fairly smart actually) system of letting their free agents test the market and only asking them to let them match whatever they are worth and be first concideration. Don't remember how they do it exactly but read it somewhere credible.

I don't think signing forte would be effing yourself either.

Especially given the injury franchise tag is the way to go. Pretty douchy but seems like the best move. Other RBs have looked pretty good in his place FWIW
Assuming Brees isn't going anywhere Bowe is the big ticket imo. I'd be willing to break the bank for him. What cap space does Chicago have? Lofton seems like he could be a good grap for some teams as well. Williams and to a lesser extend Abrahams going to get some interest as well (dunno his exact injury situation). No idea about Mathis, pretty sure he'll not be in Indy..will be kind of strange seeing him on another team.

I agree now that I see what it would take to trade up for that id rather this team get G, CB, S, DT, LB help.

Pretty young team, good picks in the near future but somewhat tough division...the route to the SB is: BPA, BPA, BPA, BPA, BPA, etc.
