Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

Signing any running back to a mega-contract is effing yourself even if he doesn't Chris Johnson it.

Running backs just aren't that important in the NFL. Cap space is precious.

Every source I see lists Luck as a senior.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

luck is a red shirt junior imo which means he can go back for another year

Vikings need to sign a FA WR, want one of Bowe, Djax, Vjax or Colston

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

how valuable is that #2 pick? How many picks could Stl get from someone trying to move up for RG3? Sucks for them that Bradford is untradeable.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

i doubt Stl would get that much unless a team was dying for RGIII. He's a good prospect but not sure if a team is going to bet the farm on him.

How would you compare him to Mark Sanchez?

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

Also to be completely honest. Matt Kalil could theoretically be the best thing for St. Louis period. Trading out of the pick could be stupid just based on them not getting Kalil.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

Yeah, I think the most likely thing is the Rams just stay at #2 and pick Kalil. Not sure anyone's giving them a massive offer to trade up for Griffin.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

That is true. I'd think he's much better than Mark (like >>>>>) who the Jets did trade up to get. LOL @ the jets for that one. So theoretically it could happen. The Browns I've heard like him. I think the QB options are pretty good this season and they could have been epic if Barkley had declared. Not only do you have Luck and RGIII, you potentially have Jones, the kid from TAMU, and a couple of other solid prospects. Flynn will probably be out there as well.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

would love to see the bengals draft the guard from Stanford and a corner w/ the 2 first rd picks.

their draft needs after that should be DT or S in 2nd rd and 3rd rd.
4th and 5th rds RB and LB.
6th and 7th BPA.

Would be nice to get one of those WR listed minus DJ dont need a headcase. Prefer Wayne or lloyd as the best and more affordable options.
