NFL 2012 Offseason Thread
2012 Draft Order:
1. Indianapolis (2-14)
2. St. Louis (2-14)
3. Minnesota (3-13)
4. Cleveland (4-12)
5. Tampa Bay (4-12)
6. Washington (5-11)
7. Jacksonville (5-11)
*8. Carolina (6-10)
*8. Miami (6-10)
10. Buffalo (6-10)
*11. Kansas City (7-9)
*11. Seattle (7-9)
13. Arizona (8-8)
14. Dallas (8-8)
15. Philadelphia (8-8)
16. N.Y. Jets (8-8)
17. Cincinnati, from Oakland (8-8)
18. San Diego (8-8)
19. Chicago (8-8)
20. Tennessee (9-7)
*Determined by coin flip
Firings that have already happened:
-Steve Spagnuolo out in STL
-Raheem Morris out in TB
Firings that may happen:
-Norv Turner in SD
-Even though Jerry says Garrett is safe, who knows.
-Jim Caldwell (Thank you Riverman)
What the Colts do IRT drafting Luck and keeping or trading Peyton is going to dominate the offseason. Matt Flynn deciding to GOAT it up can guarantee some QB needy team will overpay him and be stuck with mediocre for a long time

Re: 2012 NFL Offseason Thread
RGIII will make things interesting as well.
Draft class is pretty solid but could have been better if Barkley decided to leave. Chance that Jones from OU comes back as well now.

Re: 2012 NFL Offseason Thread
Jeff Fisher seems to be the name being linked with the Rams.
AJ Smith also for the GM spot since Billy Devaney got the boot along with Spags.

Re: 2012 NFL Offseason Thread
The class of Luck, RGIII, Barkley and Jones would have been insane.
Lots of chatter in the Detroit papers that Scott Linehan may gets some HC looks this offseason, hopefully it doesn't happen.

Re: 2012 NFL Offseason Thread
Any free agent lists?
I know Brees is the big ticket. I can't imagine him leaving NO.
Ray Rice, Forte, Lynch are big name RB FAs.
WR have a good list Desean, Wayne, V Jackson, Welker, Bowe, Colston, Lloyd, etc.
OT: Grubbs, Nicks, Saturday.
DL: Mathis, Campbell, Abraham, Mario Williams.
LB: Lofton, Tulloch, Spencer.
DB: Grimes, Rogers, Finnegan, Carr, Landry.
Obviously some could have been signed during the season that I don't know of.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread
It's mentioned in the other thread. Lol, someone should take the off-season news from the wild card thread.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread
Not entirely sure that signing Ray Rice would be effing themselves. The Maurice Jones-Drew contract seems fine as long as he doesn't fall off the face of the earth next year, his contract would have been fine.
I'm assuming Rice is gonna get a similar contract and is probably as valuable.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread
I don't think signing forte would be effing yourself either.
