i guess my problem was my expectation was total destruction (obviously hoping for a seattle loss though) and when it was a 1 score game in the 4th, I was pretty shocked. Line was pretty good though. seattle is obviously good on the road and epic at home, i forgot.

The Harvin false start took 4 points off the board, and I'm not really sure what the refs saw there. They don't have a clip on NFL.com. I guess the Carpenter penalty didn't really take points off the board, as we got a TD eventually anyway, but it made the drive chew up a ton more time, which could have resulted in an extra possession. I hope the NFL gives an official statement on that one, because falling on a guy you've pancaked seems to be something that happens multiple times a game, even if you are falling on him deliberately.

Thomas and Wagner each dropped an INT, neither of which was a gimme, but this game wasn't that far from being a blowout. Cousins played very well, though. His two big passes to DeSean were absolutely perfect throws.

The seahawks have to be sandbagging against some of these weak teams right?

The Redskins were the first weak team that the Seahawks have played this season.

And it's the NFL where outside of a few teams they can all win on any given week, plus the defending super bowl champs always get their opponents best. Well, not always but they're always as hyped as they can possibly be.

The game last night is definitely not a mark against the Seahawks being an elite team as a few people seem to be suggesting.

in general i agree with you but seattle didnt put up terrible games last year at home. obviously they were beatable on the road last year and cross country vs washington is one thing.

why did marshawn only get 10 carries last night? i didnt watch the game.

You were quoting a post from before that Dallas game.

The Dallas game was definitely a kick in the head and if anything we ran good just to not lose by like 17. It was a lot more alarming than the loss in San Diego.

The implication seems to be that Percy wasn't getting along with people and the Hawks decided to punt.

Thanks for that one return that kinda cliched a Super Bowl I guess.

I have probably too much faith in the Hawks FO, and am still basking in Super Bowl glory, I just can't be that mad about this. Especially after watching the offense shoot itself in the foot repeatedly trying to force things to Percy last game.

Wow, wtf did Harvin do? That has to be the NFL's equivalent of military black sheep being shipped to the Antarctica right?

Seahawks fans really feel Super Bowl glory? I mean the reality is it was almost 100% fueled by PED use and cheating, combined with a hearty assist from the refs. Is that really something to be proud of? To each their own I suppose.

must be huge problems to ship out the only real outside threat on the team.

obviously the nice part is they have space to lock up russ wilson and a few others. pretty shocking turn of events though.

Yeah, you all can start feeling glory when you've made 3 SB's in 5 years

Kearse has been a decent long thread, Paul Richardson has been waiting in the wings. It's a big drop talent wise, but there is something there.
