Re: NFC BEAST 2011

Cowboys talking to Browns safety Abram Elam. Found this on his wiki

Since 1987, three of Elam's siblings have been shot to death. His older brother, Donald Runner, was fatally shot in 1987. His sister, Christina Elam, was killed in 1999. On May 9, 2008, his older brother Donald Elam was fatally shot; at age 14, Donald Elam was once the youngest person ever indicted for murder in Palm Beach County, though he was later acquitted.

Re: NFC BEAST 2011

let us BEAST. i think the giants will still be pretty good this year, i don't really have much of a basis for this claim.

I would like to see the Giants bring back Tiki Barber for another shot......actually like a thousand shots. Just beat his ass for the entire preseason and then cut him with like 6 concussions.

Re: NFC BEAST 2011

Awesome OP. As a Pats fan I'm just so excited that I am still high five-ing with the rest of you. I even said something nice to a Steeler fan friend yesterday.

Someone needs to create a parody of the The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer called "The NFL Rises."

"We were in this together, and then you were gone. The NFL needs to come back."

"What if it doesn't exist anymore?" "It must... it must." It's too easy.

Makes sense, he knows Ryan's defense and started out in Dallas. He still has a younger brother and there's 7-8 years before the next Elam is due to be shot. Nothing special but shouldn't be expensive and can start immediately. He was my prediction to start at FS in the Cowboys team thread.

Doug Free signed to 4-year $32m deal.

Checking into the BEAST on the ground floor

I'm all over the Resign Plax bandwagon

Lets go New York Giants

Re: NFC BEAST 2011

Cheddar Plax turns 34 in a couple weeks and hasn't played ball in 2.5 years. And the last year he did play he was ****ty and a distraction. Giants seem like they're in okay enough shape at WR and I can't imagine Other Steve Smith would cost that much to keep if they wanted.
