Lots of conflicting reports coming out from up here in Fayetteville, but it has blown the **** up.

I've heard the girl was his cousin (which being AR shouldn't really matter), I've heard she was at his house with his wife and some other people and he was just giving her a ride back to her car. OTOH, he was directly asked if he was alone on the bike at a presser and said "Yeah" as he walked off stage. He also referred to her earlier as a woman who just happened to be standing on the side of the road who flagged down the car that gave him a ride.

Also their wedding site is down now, which makes me sad.

9:45 PM press conference on the Petrino situation.

Also, the people that allegedly took Petrino and the lady from the scene were interviewed today by the news, and claimed there was no woman present at the scene.

Like 7 minutes behind schedule now as it hasn't started, and Petrino left campus a short time ago after meeting with the AD. Thinking we are about to see a canning/accepting of a resignation. Or a public apology without being present.

Now I get to satisfy my morbid curiosity to see if this press conference is going to be aired on more channels than the Tebow press conference in my market (3).

Edit: Statement made by Petrino acknowledged an inappropriate relationship with this woman, and is on paid administrative leave. Also, yes, Petrino beats Tebow by 1 channel.

I kind of wish I had just went to this press conference to troll Jeff Long. It was so poorly attended, a pen and a notebook might have got me in the door.
