The NCAA will never use the death penalty again, it's way too much of a financial impact. It'd be like the NFL shutting down a franchise, it would cost them too much revenue. College sports is a business and you don't make money shutting down your programs.

two years ago, Delany was knocking over old ladies to get in front of a camera to talk about how righteous the big ten is and how they never put football in front of academics or whatever and he would have put forward Tressel and Paterno as his prime examples of that.

Top 10 easily, possibly top 5. Ohio State is favored against Michigan and has an easier schedule. So that's a good place to start, then up a few spots.

I understand why the move was made, and the B1G is the right place to be stability, financial, and academic-wise. It will do wonders for the university. But from Day 1, I've hated the move from a purely football-based standpoint. I've spent my whole life making fun of this lumbering old rusty colossus of a conference, and now we're stuck in it forever. Just when we join, BOOM tOSU decides to cheat and cover it up and PSU's decade-long turd finally hits the fan. Screw Deloss Dodds but bring on OU and Texas IMO.
