Ha, read GoldenBears post and literally said "ruh roh" out loud.

The "ouch" is Tosh Lupoi, named best recruiter in the nation by Rivals and clearly one of the top if not the top recruiter in the Pac-12, just bolted for UW.

Shaq Thompson interview on ESPN insider (http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfr...t/post?id=1885) indicates he might waffle again. As a Husky fan, this is a waffle I would take.

Wait, that's the earth shattering defection? A recruiter?

Gimme' some good old-fashioned parents heckling their own kids' decisions and over ruling them anytime.

I don't see how he would know anything.

I believe him when he says he sees what Cam is doing and he thinks he has the same skills.

John Canzano (The Oregonian) has an article that seems pretty darn believable, and casts the decision as the right one:

Re: NCAA Football Offseason Thread

Not sure if this is the right thread for this. I would post this in sportsbetting forum, but I am boycotting that forum until Microbob gets his act together and reigns in some of the hostility there.

Fri 8/31 101 Boise State +7½ -120
12:00PM 102 Michigan State -7½ -120

Michigan vs Alabama, in Arlington - has action if played before 9/4
Sat 9/1 103 Michigan +9 -120
12:00PM 104 Alabama -9 -120

Marshall at West Virginia - has action if played before 9/4
Sat 9/1 105 Marshall +24 -120
12:00PM 106 West Virginia -24 -120

Auburn vs Clemson, in Atlanta - has action if played before 9/4
Sat 9/1 107 Auburn +5 -120
12:00PM 108 Clemson -5 -120

Southern Mississippi at Nebraska - has action if played before 9/4
Sat 9/1 109 Southern Mississippi +11 -120
12:00PM 110 Nebraska -11 -120

Anyways, here is some very early 5Dimes lines for next season's big matchups. At this point I think I really love Alabama -9. I know they are losing a lot of talent on defense, but also they are loaded with talent and will just reload, and McElroy seems to be coming into his own and giving Saban 9 months to prepare for Michigan's cruddy run option game, just seems like this line is way too low.

Another potential line that might be too low is Mich St. It seems like Boise is going to lose a lot of talent at the skill positions on offense (including starting QB/RB) and there could be a pretty big drop off against a real stingy defense.

Any thoughts on any of these lines.
