Can't see how a single call to a an escort service on a company phone is ever anything close to a fireable offense. That doesn't stand up 30 seconds in HR. Beyond that it's just absurd thing to worry about anyway, it's easy to explain away as a misdial. There must be much more behind this. Maybe the hookers were for recruits ... Can't imagine a good Christian man hiring them for himself ...

probably a good thing for Ole Miss. They can claim to the NCAA that they were as blindsided by the NCAA violations as they were by his personal malfeasance. Freeze gets a lengthy show of cause. Ole Miss gets some minor scholarship penalties and a 1 year bowl ban. Seems about right.

Pretty sure Houston Nutt (the plaintiff) got got due to a similar discovery (possibly twice) like he'd been making calls to other schools about their job openings.

The most LOL part of this story I saw was that Freeze was given the opportunity to redact his personal calls from the records of his school cell before surrendering them for the investigation re: Nutt's lawsuit.
