Yeah she was actually pretty fun to watch.

It's hilarious seeing these UCONN players basically crying at the podium for having a 111 game winning streak snapped.

Maybe the old UConn players like Diana Taurasi and Rebecca Lobo will start showing up on the sidelines and getting in the players' faces. Like when Michael Irvin and Ray Lewis used to scream at the newer Hurricanes football teams when they'd lose a home game.

I was at a bar and this was one of the things on so I watched the end (and evidently we weren't alone as the place blew up when that chick won the game). It wasn't just the number of timeouts which seemed excessive but some seemed REALLY long. Like AMC movie commercial break long.

It was sloppy and not just the play, but the lolrefs. I was trying to figure out wtf was going on with this:

and the lack of volume wasn't helpful.

At least it ended on a make and not a fail, which is a lot more than you can say for most of the close men's tournament games. lol women's sports and all that but I recognize and appreciate HEART when I see it.

What you guys need to realize is that this was one of the better officiating performances for NCAAW.
04-01-2017 , 01:58 AM
I was all ready to send death threats to the officiating crew if UConn won.
04-01-2017 , 04:36 AM
Had Uconn moneyline - 115 in play. Lol wimmen and lol me. What a faaaacking joke how do you lose with the refs gifting you 2 free points in ot? They scored 1 pt in a 6+ minute stretch at the end of reg/start of ot. Well done.

Tyson mouthpiece moment. Dammit sorry I missed it.

The MSU baseball team liked it.

Someone should make a Final Four thread.

Reggie Miller is re-creating iconic tournament shots unguarded in an empty gym. Even MORE underwhelming than you can imagine.

Hate to admit it, but easiest free money ever.

Patrick Ewing the new Hoyas coach. For his sake I hope he does well.

That's a wrap.

You can go ahead and shutdown this thread.

Man your coach can really recruit and will pull out all the stops. Hopefully his coaching improves, but man he already has gotten a few lotto picks at cal and a top 5 pick with porter.

Martin has an amazing agent to parlay what he has done into 3.1 mil a year.

A desperate university that has been a complete dumpster fire with money, willing to try anything to improve its basketball program will also inflate that number.

Although if he lands another high recruit, he will have already earned most of next year's salary.

as expected wichita state leaves for AAC.

Missouri Valley had a good run, now dead to one bid league status.

It's been a 2 bid league at best for most seasons.

NIU had a good run.
Creighton is definitely been missed
Drake used to be decent.

AAC now will have 5-7 potentially good programs.

Houston
UConn
Cincy
SMU
Temple
Memphis
Wichita State

All have good basketball programs; UConn has 4 titles; Houston was great in the 80s and have a great football team. Cincy has always been good/decent at times. SMU has been good lately. Temple is decent and Memphis used to be good but now is mediocre under Tubby. They should be on par or better than the old CUSA with L-ville, Memphis, Cincy.

There are really only a few good teams in crap conferences left; Gonzaga in the WCC with St. Marys and BYU (maybe WCC isn't crap). If they gut the A10 and AAC with the best basketball teams they'd have a conference probably as good as the new Big East; won't happen though.
