So...Austin Nichols got kicked off the Virginia basketball team.

Can't say I am too hopeful of a championship run after losing a pre-season first team All-ACC big man (depending on the publication) after two games. Going to have to live off of defense and guard play. Have very little offense down low now.

We'll always remember your smile while cheering from the bench last year.

On the one hand, I do sometimes feel bad for college athletes, as they can't get away with everyday college kid transgressions like skipping class or underage drinking, but at the same time, if you have a full scholarship and potential stardom, it shouldn't be too hard to toe the line (though making it to every early morning class freshman year can be tough).

IU got to sell most of the tickets. Not sure why they scheduled it. I like it though, nice RPI rig game. IU scheduled like idiots again this year with all the sub 300s, prob have great season and be a 3 seed.

Tom Crean may be legitimately bottom 10% gameday coach in college bball.

Currently down 10 to IPFW with 10 min left and the team is just entirely flat. They don't care at all.
