We gave DK an amazing contract bcuz after ford left for Ok St (who wouldn't for t boone pickens money) we wanted a local "loyal" UMass boy who wouldn't leave as soon as the next better job offer came up. Which he's never gotten because he's just a bad coach.

This is also wrapped up in our FBS football experiment, we don't have a conference. Praying for the Big 12 to scoop up some AAC teams so we can join the AAC at some point. Not happening this year, maybe next year.

I ****ing love the a10. But meh, football has the money.

The point of my post is that Kellogg needs to be fired at the end of the year. He won't though because we can't afford it and he has sick recruits. Have 0 faith he'll do anything with the talent though.

Noone cares. (Nor should you) I'm just a kid whose dad had season tickets to the UMass calipari years as a kid that can't quit them. (I remember Lou Roe and Marcus Camby ****ing up tim duncans **** like it was yesterday)
Uconn basketball s heading down the same road for the exact same reasons. They continue to dump money into a failing football program. These administrators need to wake the hell up and realize that people in New England give zero ****s about big time college football, except
Notre Dame. All they are doing is killing their other sports. You know it's bad when your football program has to rehire the same coach that **** on them only a few years back.

at the very least uconn and umass should play again. If you're old enough to remember, I was at the game in fall 04 (I think? Maybe 05), where we beat y'all and the students rushed the court. You were defending natl champs. I was 16 and tried to sneak off to the student section so i could rush the court but my dad physically blocked me lol.

Ollie seems like a good dude, but yeah, everyone says that about Kellogg too. Good dudes =/= performance

just amazing. if that can be topped in basketball, I would love to see it. that is simply incredible

And I'm pleasantly surprised. that year they made the tourney last they shot like 28% from 3 which is def below avg.

They're well coached, athletic and that matchup defense is a complete bitch to go up against. They could go even further then what I projected, but its diificult for them in the half court at times and I still say they will only go as far as their defense allows to them. I would be surprised if they made it to the final 4 or elite 8, even in a year like this. Still a really solid team though.

I think UCLA can get make a deep run because their defense should improve in the next month or so.even when the game slows down to a grind ( which it does in march) they can still execute at an efficient rate. they dont need to run in roder to score

Best team in the ACC now over .500 look out

Chris Collins is a stone cold lock to win CoTY when NW makes their first tourney ever this year.

Umass lost again. Our team is talented, our coach is Terrible

blackmon out for year, the leg injuries just keep giving and giving to IU

Just glanced at Dukes remaining schedule. Very real threat they finish under .500 in ACC play, especially if they lose today.

Maryland in 4 road games in conference have been +4.5, +1.5, +4, and +8
They have won all 4 games by 6+

uhhhh what if GT makes it?

and ACC is still a better conference as of right now

ACC is just wild right now. UNC, ND and FSU all go down to unranked opponents. Duke nearly goes down to an unranked opponent.

Every game seems like a coinflip these days.

Kansas has no offense

Of course UK and KU are first and second in all-time wins. Not a terribly important fact anywhere except the Bluegrass, that is. When the gap closed from about 50 to 20-something wins about a decade ago, the hire of Calipari was much about this paranoia that UK would lose the lead. "We'll hire theguy that wins mid-30s every year even though his probabtion record is horrible. We have to keep this lead." That was the mindset. INcredibly, with UK sick win rate under Coach C, Kansas has closed the gap further wininng 5 more games than UK in Calipari era.
