UK fans not surprised with the Duke bust situation. One-and-done route is super high variance obviously. That's a trade-off I'm willing to accept though to watch the Stars of Tomorrow with annual title equity even if it sometimes includes Harrison twins. And yeah while Duke isn't drawing dead in tournament equity, it's weird how they were still odds favorites up until a couple weeks ago. I've thought they were clearly not that good for a while now.

Also, I don't understand why Calipari is absolutely unwilling to play Hamidou Diallo. Like, yeah, he just got here and is probably super rough. But it's not like they run any kind of offense or defense that he'd need to learn (hahahaha), and he said Diallo is a great on-ball defender, which they sorely lack right now.

Carsen Edwards is the truth.

WVU is a legit home team.

Louisville is such a deep, talented team. Beating Pitt by 50+ on the road without their starting point guard. Cant wait until theyre a 4 seed and I get to put them in the final four in my bracket.

You usually only see threads like this for football coaches, well done Pitt

Swanigan just missing his 5th 20/20 game of the season by 3 boards. Ends up with 25 points and 17 rebounds at Michigan State.

(will take them HU for $ v any other team in a NCAA last longer)

Veteran guards + Stud Freshman wing + senior center who defends/rebounds well

The only thing I worry about is depth in the frontcourt with the loss of Azubuike. They are absolutely loaded at guard/wing.
Ill do Louisville for $100.

Team has quit on the coach. Was a horrible hire and needs to be gone today.

Dixon is a good coach. Stallings did an okay job at Vandy.....get rid of him before 1 year is over?

they cant score in the halfcourt against top tier defenses, they'll sreuggle in march. they can get to the sweet 16 by their D alone though.

they also should look to transition a lot more..but i coudl say the same to a lot of teams

When is the last cover by 50 or more (Louisville tonight)?? (I do remember one in college football. UCLA McNown era won a game by 60 in which I'm pretty sure they were a 10 pt. dog. 70 point cover lol.)

Super comment. Ville ain't winning it. Luv'em, specialize in'em ... they ain't winning it. They only surprised me once in an NCAA tourney game in 40+ years so I'm bold. Just as bold as a few years ago when I rode them to the title with a team that wasn't going to be stopped.

*Anybody guess what that shocking result was gets kudos plus.

Synchronic--you were surprised by Never Nervous Pervis winning against Duke in 1986?
01-25-2017 , 09:23 AM
When I watch Villanova all I see is a team going through the motions. They know they are making the tournament, they know they are going to be a top seed, they got their jakeys on whatever.

No one advocates the flip the switch when the time comes strategy but it's clearly what Nova is doing. Good luck with that.
