Seems weird seeing Wiltjer in a Gonzaga jersey. Wish him nothing but success though. Looks like he still needs some work on defense though.

Weirder than Wiltjer is seeing KC Ross Miller playing.

Why does that seem weird...He committed to UK in 2007 when Gillespie was the coach. Not joking. Gillespie was a ****ing moron trying to get people to commit in 8th grade.

Until 2004, NCAA teams were allowed to schedule exhibition games against "professional" barnstorming teams like Marathon Oil, Athletes in Action, & foreign professional teams.

Marathon Oil was originally tied to the oil company, but then stopped that relationship, but just kept the name with permission.

Just a bunch of guys with dreams of playing euro basketball, making $100/game to get some exposure. The best players could make up to $1,000/game in rare instances.

first big night of 'real' games. Duke vs MSU and UK vs KU in the champions classic. That's been a pretty cool event the last couple of years.

Duke 2-1
MSU 2-1
UK 1-2
KU 1-2

And those four are doing it again the next three years. This year is above, next year is Duke/UK and MSU/KU, and again in 2016 with Duke/KU and MSU/UK. Just a cool how some of the elite schools decided to make their own event essentially just because they could.

Sparty just doesn't have the talent to hang with Duke. Dawson is gonna need to be their main offensive creator and I don't think he's capable of doing that at an elite level.
