I got Nurkic as the MIP, are there places I can bet that? Google has proved fruitless.

saw some highlights from yesterday's games, Bazemore should be suspended for a while, this is about the dirtiest play you can make

Wow. He should've been ejected for that too. Super dangerous.

Baze is a POS
10-28-2016 , 12:57 PM
Yeah, that deserves a couple games
10-28-2016 , 12:58 PM
Yeah that's about as dirty of play as you can make without straight mugging someone. Assume will get a game or two.
10-28-2016 , 01:03 PM
I don't think it's intentional he brainfart when he sees his jump his useless

but still obvious DQ foul + suspended for 3 games
10-28-2016 , 01:13 PM
agreed with guivre 100%. Looks like Baze just miscalculated speeds and got crossed up last second and that's what happened.

Baze not doing himself any favors without saying "my B", tho.
10-28-2016 , 01:17 PM
Yeah I'm not sure it was intentional but intent is pretty irrelevant when ends up being that dirty.
10-28-2016 , 02:00 PM
I didn't think it was that bad actually... he doesn't really push him, but I could see an ejection, if that.

I got through a minute of the 2nd attempt to listen to the ringer nba podcast and just couldn't do it. Hate the host guy Vernon and his voice and shtick too much

What are the best NBA pods here? I know sid Lowe and another one are pretty popular in here but I'm in the 2p2 minority who doesn't want a pod full of analytics just two guys talking somewhat intelligently about basketball with banter but not trying overly hard to be funny

Nate Duncan's pods are fine. He does a lot of them with Danny Leroux who I find irrationally annoying but they're good stuff

Think that was the other one I listened to last year as well that was recommended in here :thumb

They don't get overly into analytics? I remember there was one that did but if it's not this one I guess that's not important

Nah they use stats but they don't go too deep in analytics really. They'll cite PER, fg% and other basic metrics a lot but they don't really go too much in details about more advanced stats

They do love to talk about caps and payrolls but i'm expecting they won't at the start of the season

if you want a casual podcast of fans talking about NBA try The Starters

Yea just listened the first ~20 minutes in the car and they were good enough. Thanks for suggestion?

Are these the same guys that had the show on nba tv? I never checked out the pod so maybe I'll give it a chance but the show was a good example of too many people talking and trying way too hard. They thought they were funny cool and just weren't. Remind me of the football ramble guys for anyone who listens to their soccer podcast. I'll at least give the pod a chance if you think it's worth it. Thanks for the suggestion

Stolen from reddit but super relevant as of now especially in TZ

I like how the Cavs Raptors game is broadcast nationally on ESPN in the US, while in Canada it is on a specialty channel that only a few people get thanks to the World Series, CFL, and Skate Canada (I get the channel though)

Houston Dallas game O/U is only 219.
I kinda feel like betting a Houston game against a competent scoring team at any point total below 230 is +EV.

No stats to justify this but my eye test / gut says that Dallas has to be one of the slowest paced teams in the NBA.

Teams tend to adapt and focus on their deficiencies for at least one game after they were exposed in a major way

Wrt Baze, he got thrown off by Wall going to the left hand dunk instead of the right hand lay-in/dunk from the side. Still really bad. Wall had a similar foul against Thabo later in the game (at around 7 mins in the 4th iirc) which makes his reaction kinda lol though.
10-28-2016 , 05:27 PM
Good foul, imo, considering Wall bitch babied the rest of the way as he team got their **** stuff by 19 points.

But serious, want to hope that 1urker/guivre are right and not going to complain if Baze catches a couple games. He's played plenty of minutes to know that he's not some kind of head hunter out there.

Dude, cmon they aren't close.

Wall leaps to contest and hits arm/ball. Baze doesn't even jump and takes out the back of his legs.
