Uhh, no they didn't.

Giannis was in the same rookie class and signed for almost $40M more than Schroeder.

Well technically LBJ was kinda bad that year and it would be hard to give it to someone who regressed majorly... then again he was that much better than anyone else in the previous year.

He did regress, but still lead the league in WS/48, total win shares, PER, VORP etc..."kinda bad" seems like a stretch.

He certainly deserved it more than DLose. But Dwight was right there that year too.

yeah maybe, but that was one of the highest pt totals they've given up in their current era - hard to suck that bad without effort being a factor. i do agree that they will likely improve as everyone gets more used to playing together

my preconception of this woyas season is that really the only reason they should have problems is things like lack of focus/energy just because they have every reason to believe that they'll coast. even tho there are some weaknesses, none of them seem insurmountable or the kind of thing that can't be papered over with adjustments

I think RWB's reaction to the Philly fan is GOLD

Meh, westy wanting a fan kicked out for giving him double rockets took him down a notch.

I thought his reaction was awesome up until the point where the vine ends, pretty weak if he wanted the fan thrown out

About the double flip off fan:

He's a doctor, a urologist in fact, who gets really into it at games. Often yelling at the players.

He said the reason he did the double flip off is because Westbrook told him "Go sit down you fat ****."

Lolol

i was impressed with gerald greens play last night, he is quietly a nicee signing
10-27-2016 , 08:55 PM
Yeah that's why I got Westbrook down a bit. He talks so much **** and taunts the **** out of crowds. When they give a little back you can't go crying to the refs to get the guy kicked out.

If you need any more proof that I'm right, jvg was pretending to be a hard ass tough guy, getting himself to half mast denouncing that fan.

Lolol
Holy **** if that's true I can see why KD would want a new situation. Provoking and then complaining is hilarious.

Lol at half mast. OKC's problem was Durant, not Westbrook.

Personally i think calling the guy "fatboy" and then getting him kicked out is hilarious. pwnt fatboy.

“To all my FB friends who are seeing a picture of me on the Internet giving the finger to Russell Westbrook. Actually two fingers,’’ Harkaway wrote in a private Facebook post, via the New York Post. “Not as simple as it seems. I love to scream at the players and anyone who has been to a game with me knows this. Part of my charm. What you may not have seen on any of the video clips is what started the whole thing, which was Russell Westbrook saying ‘sit down (expletive) fat boy’ when I stood up to boo.”
ROFL @ "Part of my charm."

KC - early season main candidate for MVP of TZ.

just watched randle's highlights from yesterday and he looks vastly improved. obviously it's vs guys like nene/randerson and the rockets suck on d in general, but his passing and handles look significantly better. finishing still looks a bit suspect imo since a few of these floatery shots look like low % looks, but good signs overall

nate duncan said on his pod that he looked pretty good defending on switches too which is a good sign too

worth watching: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZE3I1_1YeE

cpls of observation on kawhi's first 2 games:
- looks like he's really trying to draw more fouls, like harden he seems to have an awareness of trying to catch guys with their arms out, and even baiting them into reaching like harden does
- similar to the above he seems to be trying to really make sure help defenders are baited into help which is leading gasol/lma into open shots

his handle looks better which is maybe half the reason he looks able to execute those kinds of tactics, but even so that's really cerebral play. bodes well for his efficiency since he's always had an offensive style with an halfcourt iso-ish template over 'downhill' play (not that's he's unable to run pnr or get out in transition). looks like he's going to be a total beast this year even beyond what i assumed he'd produce. google tells me he opened +1600 for mvp? idk what it is now but he would have been nice value at that price

I have no problem with Russ telling the guy to sit down fat boy, that's hilarious. This dopey fan gets to yell whatever he wants at the players. A little FAT SHAMING is fine in this spot.

I agree provoking the guy and getting him thrown out is lame though. Can't have it both ways.
