Sixers rotation is now:
PG: Draft?/TJ
SG: Hendo/Staukas
SF: Simmons/Saric
PF: Love/Saric
C: Embiid/Holmes
Seems like in that situation you are forced to draft a PG; you still suck at SG but you have a sick front court where 2 guys can actually shoot well from 3. Doesn't seem awful but the value of the Lakers/Kings picks seem high at this point. Lakers should be in the 5-10 range; Kings could be top 3 in 2 years. Seems like if they could they'd want to flip someone in the front court for a SG...in that situation.
Henderson is being moved in the proposed deal but likely wouldn't start for the Sixers regardless. He wasn't starting much in the second half of the season, playing behind Stauskas or TLC. Most of his contract is non-guaranteed and it's decently likely he's waived. TLC probably ends up starting.
Regardless, both the trade return and the lineup construction for the Sixers are awful. It also just doesn't make sense to trade for Love from a success cycle perspective.
Covington probably starts for the Cavs in that scenario too in a Kyrie/George/LeBron/Covington/Thompson lineup.
