Here's the thing: people routinely [exchange moneys] 100 times larger than your agreement with thay3r on a single game (any sport) on this site; in the "good old days" 1000 times.

If you have genuine reason to think someone is scamming you, after reasonable research, then it is imperative to inform the forum.

Otoh, we don't undermine people's reputations without proof. Of instances you know about: Cashy and fanerio - people had proof. But you don't get to say B***s hasn't posted for 4 months - he's running away from his $50 season bet with me until that happens. Ditto thay3r.

If that comment was taken 100% seriously and everyone thought I was accusing THAYR of being a scammer over twenty-five dollars then I apologize. But I also thought people had enough sense to not read into that as me accusing him and also enough sense to know that people don't disappear over $25.

Funny you're the one taking the torch up over this and not THAYR himself. Since you say you're regularly in the soccer thread people would casually joke BAIDS did a cashy or fanny when he disappeared for months (which he obviously didn't). I was really only asking if THAYR had disappeared, as his user name did not exist when I went to PM him. You became extremely offended by that and for that I apologize, but I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer.

And for the record, and just to be very very clear I don't think anyone would ever do a runner on a bet in double digts or less. Ever.

I am an LFC backer mainly cuz of lol MLS and lol Michael Bradley, and I'm always in favor of shade being cast upon the failure known as Thayer.

Well, they've mutually picked up their options for another two years. So Phil is in NY until mid-2019 barring exceptional events.
