Can't Dipo also play some backup PG / shoulder some offensive load for 10 minutes a game when Russ is on the bench? His shot also isn't broken, there's no reason he can't be at least reasonable from set shots. Matter of coach prioritizing that.

They have been using Dipo as backup PG / second unit scorer with Russ on the bench. With Payne out, it's either Victor or Semaj Christon

He's a super athlete who can't really shoot at all. His biggest asset is his defensive flexibility, is a guy who'll be great at switching a lot, can guard the 3/4 and some 2s and its a tremendous shot blocker.

Offense is his issue, he seemed to slightly improve his jumper over the off season but it's still pretty bad, gets to the line at a pretty decent rate but like his shooting his ft shooting is pretty unreliable. He's a lot of fun tho because like westy he likes to absolutely dunk the **** out of the ball and has some huge blocks.

Grant is super good and underrated in fantasy/dfs- gets lots of steals & blocks for a wing. No idea how that will translate to playing meaningful basketball games but he passes the eye test pretty well. I like it for OKC.

If it was Ilyasova for Grant I think it cud legit be the most lopsided trade of all time. If it's a protected pick then I think it's fine for both sides and hilariously so bc it's exactly the type of trade Hinkie would make and got destroyed for.

So, it's obviously very early in the season. But Love may have really taken a jump in his defense. He's averaging career highs in both steals and blocks, and he's passing the eye test as well for me - he looks like an NBA-level defender now. Better on the PNR from what I've seen, and very active in tipping/stealing balls. Career best in DPBM and DRtg as well.

Again, this is obviously super early. They've played four games. But this is an interesting development.
