Thing that made me laugh the most was seeing Dlose's name above Lowry's

Basically, fans have no shot at voting in a player who's not highly regarded among players/media.

Almost want to go draymond at the center and then the other team can't play a center

Lol
Kevin Durant, nobody else is close

So according to Bucher Jimmy Butler has been on the block for two weeks.

Free Jimmy from that awful franchise.

Giannis' stats actually resulting in his team winning games certainly sets him apart from frauds like Boogie and Brow

Also, AUSTIN RIVERS actually looks like a pretty damn good bench player these days

If we include this season in the 5 you're probably right. By this coming off-season it likely becomes Giannis. I'd take Giannis 23-27 over Durant 29-33 I think.

Who are the other options? Brow and Kiwi I guess?
01-05-2017 , 06:55 PM
KD
Brow
Giannis
Kiwi
Harden
Curry
Lebron
Westbrook
STAPS

Not sure who to complete the top 10. Kinda wanted to put Jokic but didn't want to give that one to dood
01-05-2017 , 07:16 PM
LeBron
Klay/Giannis/Butler
Kawhi
Durant
Dray

Have fun playing a true PG or center against this lineup

this is just wonderful

Saw this convo a bunch, so my take on ranking the young bigs (24 or younger) as assets, not just this season and not really accounting for potential career limiting injury:

Brow
Towns
Embiid
Gobert
Staps
Jokic
Drummond
Turner

Drop off after Jokic is big I think and that top group are all really great assets

Embiid and Towns to me seem like the ones with the huge ceilings to be #1 on this list or overtake Brow. Embiid's flashes 20 or 30 games in to his NBA career make it pretty easy for me to put him in the top tier.

He definitely doesn't belong over Jokic or Gobert now, but I think I take a flier on his upside over either as an asset.

Towns clearly better prospect than Jokic c'mon. I think in a 5 year thing including this season I'm still taking like Rudy, Butler, PG over them and KP.

Turner below Drummond as an asset is some decent hate. I'm not sure Turner isn't better than him NOW.

Y'all are a year behind on this LOLDrummond realization but better lat than never

Wow actual content from CVig...

I agree with it all except putting Turner under Drumm. I have not seen much of Turner but his stats look amazing considering his age and the team he plays for.

I think the big thing is that the top part of the list all have something that makes them unique and should theoretically still be very good, even great, as the league moves more towards where it appears to be headed.

HEY! IND making a run now that they've sorted out their starting 5. East look out

But yea Turner is great, definitely belongs right in the conversation with Staps, KAT, Embiid, Jokic etc. IMO. He's not old enough to drink yet! I'd still probably have him last in the group I guess but I think the drop off comes after him, not before.

Assuming that none of Love, Kyrie, or Lebron are going to the Hawks 50/50/90 is a possibility for him

Millsap trade soon?
