truth in advertising: I mean, if KP becomes a Celtic I'll probably have to resign the Latvian part of my Latzillian-t identity & become a hater.

I think he's really good, but that's not what I was debating here.
I was arguing that putting him on the wuss or politically incorrect p**** team is the furthest thing from correct because he should probably be on the exact opposite of whatever that team is.

This squad would definitely make the ECF, but they're still a couple all-stars short of getting further.

The all penis team?

I guess ATL wanted to talk to Olshey about their GM job but POR adamantly said no. LOL Hawks.
05-19-2017 , 08:06 PM
ATLANTA also offered four number ones for George though that's probably more LOL Indy
05-19-2017 , 08:09 PM
4 #1s seems like a deal but if you have George and ATL's current roster, you'd assume they'd probably be in the bottom 8 in the first round of the draft for much of the period of the 1st rounders. Is it the NBA when you can't trade multiple first rounders in a row or would the trade before 4 straight 1st rounders?

MVP finalists: Harden, RWB, Kawhi....seems right although we know Bron was slanking on purpose during the regular season. Slankers don't win MVPs.
05-19-2017 , 08:12 PM
The whole giving permission to another team to talk to your GM has always seemed weird to me. If he's your guy and you want him, why let another team meet with him about their open position? Wouldn't you think your team is thinking "If he gets lured away we can just find someone better, not that big of a deal"?
05-19-2017 , 08:14 PM
Because you're lukewarm about keeping him and then you don't have to eat the contract.

Something like Boston with Doc to LAC is more atypical.
05-19-2017 , 10:13 PM
So umm, I think my breakup the Celts and rebuild around Fultz/Brown/picks is looking a little better.

This team is a bigger fav to lose rd 1 than make conf finals next year.
05-19-2017 , 10:28 PM
for sure. was thinking the same thing (while not trying to overreact to such a gaping)
05-19-2017 , 11:09 PM
I just don't see how you can max IT and make a stud like Fultz play behind him for 3 years. If Fultz is a Wall/Kyrie/Rose level prospect then that just seems pretty unlikely.

Maybe they keep IT another year then let him walk, but then you're just going with a lame duck team next year.

Would most likely go 1.Rose 2. Wall small drop off then 3. Fultz 4. Irving. Rose and Wall were pretty freaky pg prospects so its not a knack on the other dudes.

Agree with your points though. Might as well blow it up and wait for LBJ to get old. Dont expect the C's to use this logic though even though its the most +ev long term. Need to make room for Fultz to get playing time and develop to many guards on the C's.

I think both those guys wanted a trade. Especially Okafor.

I'm pretty sure the big shoe companies aren't really giving deals to rookies anymore. Unless you come into the league with LeBron/Durant type of hype, they just don't really give you that much.

What did a Simmons or Wiggins get for their shoe deals?

also massive lol here for ESPN making this into a headline, what a pathetic company that is

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/1...-want-get-deal
Wiggins got $12M

The Wolves TV ratings were pretty decent tho. The Wolves are gonna have poor ticket sales for the forseeable future because they force you to use the flashseats app for tickets and charge a 23% service charge for any ticket transfers. It's theft.

Guess the 5 teams with the worst local TV ratings!

No way in hell do I trade KP for the #1 pick.

He is a god damn unicorn who has a mismatch every time he's on the court.
05-19-2017 , 11:52 PM
Absolutely fist pump snap call trading KP for #1/2 pick in this draft.
05-20-2017 , 01:55 AM
Crowder and the 1 for Porzingis would be great imo

For the Knicks? Highway robbery.

even if KP and Fultz had the same value (they don't), with KP pissed at knicks and them having very little talent around his age range, they'd definitely be incentivized to punt to someone 2 contract years younger

Staps is worth more than the #1

pretty clear that Jimmy does not love the Bulls and would happily go

Didn't know Kanter was a big Erdogan hater. It cost him his family even. Have a lot more respect for him now.

I'd rather have fultz than KP tbh
