Also the "fat" Waiters picture shows me just how incredibly ripped NBA players really are.

yeah pretty much

30 team league he's fine for someone at that price, not every team is gonna be GS but it's far from optimal obv

Yeah, I wish I had the Fatters body. I can't see my stomach muscles like that.

Gasol gets credit for the rest of the Spurs' defense. DWS is calculated by first figuring out how good the defense is overall, and then giving out shares to each player based 25% on minutes, 50% on rebounds, and 25% on assists. The offensive formula is better but still has major flaws. WS are overrated.

25% assists on defense?
04-19-2017 , 09:10 PM
Actually looks like I remembered that wrong, that was only for years prior to 74-75. My bad.

For 1951-52 to 1972-73, yes. It was used as a proxy for steals, as they were not tracked until 73-74 season.

2013 was one of the worst draft, yet a team could have locked a 10 years contender by picking 2 non-lottery guys

Lol tanking
04-21-2017 , 06:05 AM
Don't forget to give props to the Nuggets GM for drafting Gobert
04-21-2017 , 06:25 AM
Was the 2013 draft even that bad? Lots of good players from that draft imo.
04-21-2017 , 06:34 AM
yeah fairly passable draft imo. and the future GOAT came from it which makes it automatically acceptable

think guivre just felt like slurping gobert randomly since he can't say much about him right now due to his injury
04-21-2017 , 06:57 AM
It wasnt even bad its just everybody had evaluated the talent wrong . Also it took a bit for the talent to show but now that you look back if it was actually drafted right its not a bad draft.

Lol tanking
Lol Spurs tanking to get Duncan
Lol Cavs tanking to get LeBron

Two > one.

As others have mentioned 2013 draft was fine talent wise, just some of the picks in the lottery were LOL.

There are 2 potential all-stars/all-nba players; and afterwards 10 solid starters/6 men level players near the top of the draft.

Bennett-we all knew he sucked
McLemore--no one is shocked he sucked
Len--yeah white Stiff
Burke-meh

The Cavs with a very solid 1/19 pick combo of two guys who are no longer in the NBA lol

But that was also a draft where the lottery was hugely varied, mocks were all over the place, everybody knew it was a crapshoot going in.

God had Cavs drafted Giannis and Rudy, they'd probably would have traded them for Kevin Love with Lebron comeback

Does MCW currently have the worst career for a rookie of the year ever? Can't think of another guy who can't get off the bench just three years later.
