O/u 2.5 days til we hear bout him needing shoulder surgery?

He's badass for playing thru his injury

Shumpert was playing some badass D out there. His hands are so elite but he definitely tows the line of being a 2way player.

Needs to work on his offensive game. Overall I like him though.

I'd rather have shump than smith next year
06-17-2015 , 11:19 AM
Shumpert did shut down Klay this whole series. His shooting was terrible, hopefully it was the shoulder, because he wasn't as bad earlier in the playoffs.

I still think him getting 10M or whatever is rumored is an overpay.

And of course you rather have Shump than JR. You're better off having Perk than JR. I hope he rides that stupid hovercraft off a cliff because he is a steaming pile of garbage.

Jr 6.4m player option and plans to opt out. Rumored he wants to stay in Cle so lol to that situation.

I bet some team will give him like 3/24 and feel instant regret

Yeah you'd literally be better off having Kendrick Perkins take a dump on one of the bench chairs at the start of each game, putting a jersey on it, opening a bank account for it and paying it the league minimum rather than employing JR Smith as part of your billion dollar business.

If we're talking Cavs personnel I'd sell high on TT rather than pay him 15mill a year probably.

Griffin had some interesting comments about team building around LeBron. Basically sounded like he knew they didn't need Love and Kyrie.

What an unaware scumbag. Opting out after that performance for more money is really something

TT not moving. His is Lebrons butt boy.

Love could be gone but I would guess he will be there 1 more season. If Love leaves this offseason that was a Cle decision imo and probably a good one but lolol that trade

None of the players in Cleveland are gone imo. This is pretty close series with Kyrie/Love in the game. A big reason for all of Cleveland's inefficiency was every one of them having to play a different role than they are accustomed to.

JR is awesome as a 4th scorer, AIDS as a secondary man..

If they had Love/TT/LeBron frontcourt that smallball wouldn't have been effected for long stretches I don't think. Say what you want about Love but he likely crushes that.

they're gonna be like -200 to win the East alone. The East isn't going to get better. LMA only really big FA that can change the balance of power and I doubt he goes to an East team.

+225 seems like value

yeah wiper I saw the 3-1 on twitter a few mins ago.

That's solid. The East isn't going to get a ton better....Miami and Indiana will be better, ATL might be worse.
06-17-2015 , 12:32 PM
ftr, Memphis is 25/1 and the fighting BROWS are 33/1, Indy is too.

Let's be real. Klay shut Klay down.

Bron probably goes like 32mpg next year but good chance Cle can get HCA for the finals.

The rest of that order I pretty much agree with....GS-OKC-LAC-SA-Hou. Bulls are too high but maybe Hoiberg can rejuvenate them.
06-17-2015 , 12:39 PM
Bulls at 10/1 seems kinda surprising

Offseason thread time.
06-17-2015 , 12:45 PM
Good bye worst TZ of all time
06-17-2015 , 12:56 PM
jr smith wasn't even that bad in the playoffs. his D was bad but his O, as a second option when he should be at best a fourth option, was fine. going against a team with such good wing D in the finals with so much pressure to shot create kind of killed him, but i don't see [insert other league avg wing] doing much better

The only appropriate sendoff for this iteration of TZ. Behold, the daily TZ habits of every good poster.
06-17-2015 , 01:02 PM
He wasn't a second option this series though. Seemed like they tried that for the first quarter of this game, he had a lot of great moves but couldn't finish. Makes me wonder if Kyrie was injured before series began and they started preparing JR for a different type of offense if it would've mattered any.

Second option felt like it was either Mozgov, or whoever seemed to be doing **** right that night.
