There is no justice. We are all denied seeing RWB unleashed.

BAD NEWS: I broke my foot last night

GOOD NEWS: It might be the same injury Durant has! Going to the podiatrist in ~1 hour to get the final word.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

will update with recovery times and so forth so that we can judge whether Katie is a slanker or not for missing so much time.

Kobe would have played through it

KnackFan slurping Shane Larkin all year for "playing PG the right way" is gonna become increasingly lol.

I think Jason Smith might be the superstar the Knicks have needed for years now.

Hoping it's just due to last night's occasion, but it's obviously horrible if he keeps doing it. He said the right stuff before the season about the value of rest (and mentioned the Spurs specifically), so I'm optimistic.

TT only playing 20 minutes doesn't bode too well for his eight-figure/year extension.

i watched both of their games. there is no controlling smiff.

fwiw, monroe being out has hurt van gundy's ability to send smoove to the bench. his shot selection is the wrost

Have something on this publishing in about 4 minutes, but for example every two feet of "contest space" seems to be worth about 5% of 3 pt%

Cavs need to get Love more shots. That's what they were doing when they were crushing early. 22usg for him will just make him a third wheel boshbitch who doesn't defend.

Has anyone looked into how this bref vorp is calculated and found the glaringly obvious flaw yet or will I have to do it?

Edit: the results it's yielding do look pretty accurate thus far though

I told you guys Smoove will shoot bad shots if he plays pf or sf...doesn't matter his position

And defenses will continue to make him the easiest guy to guard...just backup a few feet

alec burks just got a 4/42 extension.

that is.............. a lot of money for him

Hope he buys a lot of mutual funds.

And then also buy some securities.

Do you guys think the single season block record will ever be broken? It's Mark Eaton with 456 which is ~5.5 per game. Of the top 100 seasons only a handful took place in the last 10 years and Marcus Camby at #30 is the highest. Seems pretty unlikely unless Byron Scott has 30 kids that all coach some day.
10-31-2014 , 11:57 AM
Camby at 30? Wow I thought he would be much higher. Damn 3 pointers.

What is the word on Wiggins? Haven't caught a Twolves game yet. Saw he had an okayish stat line last night.
10-31-2014 , 12:00 PM
By my rough calculations and extrapolating from some NBA classic games I've witnessed, Bill Russell likely has multiple 600+ block seasons and a couple 700 block seasons.

Wiggins looked bad in the first half, good in the second half. He was just forcing way too much, which is to be expected. When he calmed down and just played within the offense, he was productive.

4/$42m for burks seems ridiculous
10-31-2014 , 12:58 PM
4/42 for burks? LOL wow

anyway just came in here to say ballstreams is pretty nice if anyone was still on the fence about getting it

i don't believe there is anything like this for NFL is there? i'd use it
10-31-2014 , 12:58 PM
What has Burks done to deserve that?

Doesn't shoot well (.350 3pt is with <1 made per game...fg% low .400s), doesn't rebound or assist or steal or block..

I haven't really seen him play, but looking at bref nothing stands out for why he'd make even $8M/year, much less >10
10-31-2014 , 12:59 PM
I guess new contract and expected cap rise is gonna make some teams start paying mediocre players more than 10M starting now?
