To be fair the thought of some guy yelling his d3 stats at lebron while getting escorted out is hilarious.

hes had one bad game in like the last 20 playoff games. it happens. cavs are fine and still the favorites.

Game was a complete fluke. Celtics are still drawing dead unless LeBron gets hurt.

But it's worth remembering that even the best player in the world plays poorly on occasion and that it's super dumb to draw any conclusions from a single game.

I don't even think Lebron played poorly as much as was disinterested. Cavs were up by 20 ffs.

I assume he was interested during the fourth quarter, and his play didn't improve.

The reason why he played poorly doesn't much matter unless it was a health issue. He's still LeBron. He isn't going to play poorly very often. His play overall in the playoffs has still been obscene. Cavs still win in 5.

One guy in the Bellagio poker room bet $80k to win 2k. Do you think that kind of stuff happens less than half as often as someone betting 2k on the Celtics ML? You know the money line was huge right? Think of how much more money would have to be on the Celtics for the house not to win huge.

You mean 1:40 and I saw it as high as -6000. The books made a huge dent in the hole they had accumulated through the conference finals. Biggest bet on William Hill was like $1k on Celtics ML so that's basically nothing compared to what they took from the spread alone.

Maybe I just underestimated how many people would be willing to pay 1/35 to try and win pennies. But even witih the guy who bet 80k, it only takes 4-5k of Celtics moneyline bets to make that up. I just didn't think much would come in on Cavs because who is going to bet 1k to win 30 bucks? But I could see people betting Celtics for small or large sums.
