its "smooth" yet kinda jerky and quick. shot is kinda flat. lotta hard banks and shots going in that hit a few sides of the rim. i don't disagree with anything you are saying tho, if that makes any sense. using ugly there is hyperbolic on my part. basically yes to your second part.

i mean, the leaps and bounds he's made in his game are flatly absurd.

Another problem I think Memph is gonna have in the regular season is they are a veteran team and all of their guys probably still go to clubs and get booty calls the traditional way.

This new generation uses the gram, saves time and doesn't party as hard. Makes them way fresher for the games.

Since he's kinda become the #1 there, he no showed gm 6-7 2 years ago vs LAC and then last year he didn't really suck but he was pretty clearly the 3rd best player on the court in that series behind KD and Russ. Obviously he has improved a lot but still would've been a good litmus test.

Here's a little tip on playing perimeter defense in the NBA.

After you've blatantly body-rammed a guy with the ball but there's no whistle for some reason even though the dribbler goes down and the home crowd loudly objects to the no-call...don't go and aggressively hand-check him for no reason 30 feet from the basket. Idk.

Don't think Aldridge quite deserves that. Depends what you think of him as a player overall I guess. Had some monster games vs Houston few years ago and last year vs OKC.

It does seem like if you adjust and put more size on him rather than let him punish your "4" then he becomes ordinary though. Both OKC with Adams and Hou with Asik did that.
