I know it makes the conference finals lame, but the Warriors and Cavs both getting to the finals with 12-0 records in the playoffs would be pretty sick.

It's amazing the Cavs haven't won every playoff game by 25+ points with LeBron playing at this level. When he shoots it like this, he's in a completely different tier than every other player in the league.

LeBron has been in his own tier for years and years. But you're right that his shooting is looking nice lately. His ft shooting especially has come on the past few games. Korver providing those hot ft shooting tips paying off.

To be fair, the number of eastern conference players still active in the league who have beaten lebron in the playoffs has gotta be in the single digits. Like Dwight and that's it maybe?

The nba is often this way. There's very little chance of elite teams succumbing to variance. At least there's 2 elite teams which almost seems to be the historic maximum. The late 50s, the 70s, and the post Shaq-Kobe 00s were the only extended periods of parity afaict.

I swear every year I fall for the "Lebron is slowing down" trick he pulls in the regular season... every... freaking... year.

I even tell myself he's still got it but secretly don't believe it. He's so god damned elite at keeping himself right for the playoffs, which is crazy because he's about as durable as it gets anyway. We're witnessing what happens when you combine the apex of athleticism with basketball IQ.

I think the only way to make the series interesting if the NBA coming out and saying that no fouls will be called on any Celtic when it comes to LeBron James. Obv they can't assault him, buy any standard foul wont be called. They can hack him all day with no penalty.
