nah green was clearly a rotation player even b/f lee got hurt. i do wonder if he ever could have cracked the starting lineup w/o a lee injury though

It still blows my mind that the Warriors were a -4.8 with DLee off that year. He goes down and they crush in the playoffs.

There's no way CP3 signs in Denver imo
06-16-2017 , 01:42 AM
Yeah it's obviously a long shot and to be honest I'm not sure I love his next contract, but it's really cool to be in the conversation for a top free agent. Last year it was Wade who sang Denvers praises, then this year Connelly said in an interview he's been contacted by several free agents about wanting to play with Joker, and he's not the type of guy imo to blow smoke like that.

Then they promote their ace assistant GM and Euro guru rather than have him leave for Milwaukee, makes me think the franchise is headed in the right direction.

Has there ever been anyone to make 8 All-NBA teams and not make the HOF?

Gotta be. He was a top 3 or 4 player in the league for a few years, has 8 all NBAs.

Orlando Dwight seems severely underrated because he didn't transition gracefully into not being a star and because he's not a likable dude. He was a beast on offense and an all time great on defense.

Dwight 100 percent hofer and that's before you consider all his defensive accolades.

What's more likely. Howard doesnt get in. Or Iguodala gets in?
06-16-2017 , 10:55 AM
People forget Tracy mcgrady is a hall of famer. Iggy and Howard get in easily

Iggy getting is in probably 10% at this point which is his NBA resume, rings inflation and his gold in the olympics, Howard's odds of not getting in basically come down to what are the odds he gets caught cheating or banned so pretty low at this point.

T-Mac was all-NBA seven times. And led the league in scoring twice.

Iguodala only made the all-star game once.

Cp3 looks to stay in clipper land & stay in mediocrity.

Until LeBron joins him next year!

The depth would allow their old stars to actually rest, and they'd have 2 guys in Gallo and Jokic that absolutely punish GSW when they go small. CP3 would pop his conference finals cherry and we'd at least have a competitive series with the Warriors. Lebron would be the 3rd best post-up guy ffs.

WHERE ELSE YOU GONNA GO BRON?

This is even better than that time they were this close to landing prime Dwight.
High altitude can make any man go crazy.

I live in Socal, it's the Ketamine
06-16-2017 , 02:07 PM
Don't see how you can let Iggy in if Marion isn't. With the exception of the Finals MVP, Marion compares very favorably to Iggy. Better bulk stats, 4 all star teams and 2 all NBA 3rd teams vs 1 and none for Iggy.

Howard is a clear HoFer. As was TMac imo.

Now Mitch Richmond....that's another story.

Ketamine is a great drug

LeBron would retire before going to a Western Conference team.

Billups isn't in and he had a better career than iggy too.

Only other guy is Cedric Maxwell

Edit: looks like Billups isn't eligible yet

Yeah he should eventually get it. Crazy he ended up playing longer than TMac, forgot how young TMac was when he couldn't play anymore
