Between Boozer and Deng you had a 20 point scorer and a 12. The distribution between the two doesn't really matter.

LOL ppg tho, Boozer was over 20 when in Utah fwiw. They also had Taj and Asik as the best bench bigs itl.

The team construction played to Rose's strengths of chucking, it's not like he wanted to distribute.

Remember when LBJ switched onto Rose and the team fell apart? Or when he was doubled relentlessly? There was no one capable of releasing that pressure. That's why the team was poorly constructed and not very good. Korver and a couple others could shoot, but no one could create.

Further evidenced by a total flop against an 8 seed after Rose went down. These guys were so good but couldn't beat a borderline playoff team more than once? SMH.

The year Rose hurt his knee, they had a legit shot at winning the whole thing Imho. Derrick was an absolute beast when he had that extra step

They were the best team in Srs that year in a strike shortened season which is amazing to me. They were also missing rose 27 of the 66 games that year so they knew how to win without him and were a good team without him. Idk, I still think they struggle vs the Heat/thunder in the playoffs with their team construction I.e. One star vs 3 stars.

yeah the bulls had flaws, as any team does, but it's hard to say they were a poorly designed team. while lacking in secondary creation, their playoff offense also highlighted some of the weaknesses in rose's game too

edit: which feels a bit unfair to say b/c he was practically getting defended by the whole defense sometimes, but shaky jump shot/so-so passing didn't help

ehhh, that was the worst lebron team in the last 7 years and the worst title winner in the last 7 years, and im still not sure i agree. that team seemed like a classic regular season overachiever with real long odds of winning it all

The rumor is that Melo is blocking him from coming to NY though, with his sights set clearly on being traded to Houston.

Yeah, that was my 1st wtf moment haha, but then it became kind of interesting to figure out wtf they were going for.

I think the spellings were right, but I might be mistaken/wasn't paying enough attention.
