You think magic is negotiating these trades? Rob Pelinka is running the show. Magic is smiling and looking out the window.

Now the Lakers have to work on getting rid of Deng's terrible contract

I have this weird feeling #2 is heading out the door soon, for Lebron.

Why would the Lakers make this move now when they could get give up less with another year of Mozgov off the books? Does not compute.

Right, I need to think before posting. Still, you'd think he would meddle and do a disaster of some kind.

Welcome to the Lakers lavar and Lonzo ball, honestly this can't be much worse than the current situation they're in.

Get outta town with bron coming for the number two pick to an absolutely barren roster.

To get rid of DAR before Lonzo showed up.
06-20-2017 , 06:38 PM
I am not sure Lonzo is much better than DAR offensively.
06-20-2017 , 06:39 PM
Good point, also I forgot Brook makes a lot of money.

No Bron.

NO ROB

Yeah it's great for the Nets, but not terrible for the Lakers. Nets can just eat Mozgov no problem and get DAR. Amazing having to trade DAR to get rid of Moz 1 year in lol
06-20-2017 , 06:48 PM
opens the window for Lebron to sign in 2018 along with some other star so long as they can get rid of Deng and Lonzo turns out to be really good/Ingram gets a whole lot better next year.

This is actually totes for the Lakers, but we are looking at it with Kupchak's massive blunder in mind. In a vacuum it's actually quite good. I mean it depends on what you think of DAR, but word out of the Laker's camp (according to Arnovitz) was that he's a major dunce.

Marc Stein ✔ @ESPNSteinLine
Can the Lakers now land Paul George by offering Thursday's No. 27 and 28 picks and either Julius Randle or Jordan Clarkson? They're trying.

This is starting to make a lot of sense and it makes me somewhat sad we might not be LOLakering for much longer.

That Mozgov signing will go down as the worst FA signing I can remember

Lakers just insanely lucky to keep their pick for a few years now allowing them to find a spot to dump his garbage contract
06-20-2017 , 06:59 PM
Lopez strikes me as the kind of player who would be nearly useless in a playoff series against a team like the Warriors.
06-20-2017 , 07:00 PM
Mozgov wasn't the worst signing the Lakers made last year
06-20-2017 , 07:00 PM
I'm sad about DAR. Dude is only 21.

I don't know why this matters, but it would make the Warriors play Pachulia against him in the post.

It's a sad state of affairs for pro basketball in New York. It would be shocking if either the Knicks or the Nets made the Conference finals in the next five years.

Can we LOL Ainge trading out of the top 2 of a 2 player draft to get a mid first next year?

you're sadly mistaken if you think this is a 2player draft.

Lakers can now add PG and 2 max players after next season. Lebron and . . .
06-20-2017 , 07:08 PM
still want to see that 3-way deal

PG13 to Cleveland
Love to Portland
15, 20, 26 & filler to Indiana

and then labron & PG13 both walk to LA next summer
06-20-2017 , 07:08 PM
Sure looks like PG is going to Lakers this season
