this is not the same as saying he sucks. i'm not disagreeing that he has been less valuable in the playoffs

edit: but i mean, you're lumping him in with derozan

Boston sweeps Cleveland if you swap curry for it

nate duncan has a good podcast up where he talks to this american player aaron jackson who's played his whole career in europe, he played most recently for cska moscow and has now signed with beijing in the cba. some good discussion about some euro guys and playing in europe generally

one thing they mentioned which i agree with is that bogdan bogdanovic could be pretty good in the nba. i think probably better than bojan. other than being a bit slow, he's a solid
athlete with good length/strength who should be able to defend in the nba at 2/3 (aaron jackson said he was a great defender in europe - altho his example was that he locked up sonny weems). he's a good shooter and has some floor game too - altho imo he's maybe not athletic enough to be able to do a whole heap on-ball. he signed with the kings for 3/36m so he will be given an opportunity to play

Agreed, and that's the situation Kyrie will be in if he is traded to a team where he is the best player. Query whether (a) Kyrie sees that alternative as preferable to playing with LeBron; (b) Kyrie is delusional and thinks he can lead a team like Phoenix to the promised land; or (c) both a and b are true.

Steph has been unable to sweep Cleveland with the greatest supporting cast of all time, including 2015 when both Kyrie & Love were hurt. But ya I'm sure he'd do better in Boston.

I think the bigger question is how is Kyrie's new team gonna deal with having to stand around like robots and wait for him to pass the ball?

If you want remove Harden bc you think he's a SG, fine, but I'd still take the rest of this list over IT

Wanted to trade him and happy with the return.

Portland has traded Allen Crabbe to Brooklyn for Andrew Nicholson, league sources tell ESPN.
saves the Blazers like $36M

thought ppl were saying that contract was unmovable?

lol Nyets!

more than that with taxes, even after they stretch nicholson.

people think this means ryan anderson is heading to pdx now in a 3 way w/ ny/hou

They took back a bad contract though, just one that's slightly less bad.

I think most thought that was the most movable of the lot but still a negative, as evidenced by the yield.

This is so great for Brooklyn though. They get Crabbe for effectively 3/36 rather than the 4/80 he was originally offered. Marks has been slaying since he arrived.
07-25-2017 , 02:57 PM
Yeah Marks is incredible.
07-25-2017 , 03:03 PM
Marks is absolutely crushing
07-25-2017 , 03:12 PM
Maybe in a few years the Knicks and Nets will be talented enough to combine their teams into a playoff team

I just showed this to my mom. She was beaming with pride.

Although she too overrates CP3 and IT.

Crabbe waived a trade clause that would have bumped his salary up 15%, which made it more easily movable.
07-25-2017 , 03:38 PM
i mean marks could have used that same cap space to take on a similar contract a team wanted to move and actually got an asset in return to do so. (whether this year or next)

they seem infatuated with crabbe tho
07-25-2017 , 03:58 PM
LOL Ainge. Nets and LAL/SAC picks gonna be garbage.

Great way to think of it. Can't ignore the Nicholson dump as a part of it.
