This is such a ridiculously over-the-top reach here. I said absolutely nothing close to resembling this, and you're 100% putting words in my mouth.
I said that 5 teams passing on the "consensus #1 pick" and then the 6th team choosing to trade him for marginal value means that new information concerning Nerlens Noel has come to light and it should cause us to reconsider our previous thoughts on him. You then went on some tangent about us vs GMs that had nothing to do with what I was saying, and you're bringing it up again now.
For some reason you seem to think that us being better than most GMs on average(something I do believe) prevents us from ever changing our views based upon how GMs act. I disagree with that. I think there are plenty of times when GMs have more information than us and the way they act can educate us.

Olynyk has plenty of upside considering the slot and other available players, he could achieve randerson level of good
Strongly disagree. RAnderson has been a positive defender, and I fail to see how Olynyk isn't a massive negative there.

Not to mention that the celtics have plenty of upside between their own picks and all of the unprotecteds.
I don't see why there should be a limit on upside guys. Guys who can contribute immediately are actually -EV for the Celtics since it hurts their Wiggins equity.
