The trade should be Marion + #13 for a future 2nd from Cleveland. Marion is making $9m next year and Dallas absolutely has to dump him. Dallas also needs to dump it's 1st in the deal, and doesn't have many suitors. At worst Cleveland gives up it's 33rd pick. Both #31 and #33 seems like more than the market will bear. It's a perfect trade for Cleveland who doesn't care about 2013 anyway. This trade needs to happen.

stern came out and said you can't trade players for coaches, so won't he squash any of these proposed deals? they could obv make it happen away but they'd have to circumvent

Sounded like Stern felt like he'd be able to thwart any plan those two teams had to trade coaches in his interview today.

Either way I was LOLing the Clips pretty hard till I read that Denver is interviewing Vinny... wtf.

Can't lac just do DAJ for KG first and in 2 weeks execute the doc part of the deal with an extra pick. How can the league veto that? Isn't it totally arbitrary?

Decent chance it goes down similar to that and this is all the smokescreen that Stern requested. The whole thing is supposed to be about appearances anyways.
