first 4 were obv, but picking Steph over LBJ & Durant is a pretty big mistake imo. Durant is younger than Steph! and i ****ing love Steph, think he's by far GOAT shooter amazing etc. Think people are underrating how deep and what a perfect fit Steph's supporting cast is. they had 5 (!) guys capable of guarding any position 1-4 they could rotate in & out, who all were willing role players on offense who could also spread the floor, move the ball, and ranged from avg (iggy- 35% from 3 last 2 years) to great (klay) 3 pt shooters, and a coach who built an offense directly matching up with his/their strengths.

Steph is an amazingly awesome & unique talent, what he did last year is incredible, he's just a tougher guy to build around and id just prefer lebron & durant in a draft full of smart people where building said team construction is going to be tougher especially with the 2nd pick. not only are lebron & durant easier to build around but should you fail i think them, by themselves, give you a higher floor.

Durant's foot is definitely pretty scary. LeBron has played 43,330 minutes and by all accounts of Victor has gotten fouled more and harder than any player ever. I get he's both a genetic and roided up freak, so I still think he should be a top 10 pick, but Steph over LeBron and Durant shouldn't have taken much thought and the right pick was made.

Agree with all of this. Also think there might be one or two other small reasons it's correct but I think it's definitely close enough that it's not really spew or anything to take Steph, and he can help create some really fun lineups that might not otherwise be possible.

I think taking Lebron over Davis is closer than taking Steph over Lebron. You can never go THAT wrong taking Steph, but I think its a pretty clear botch to go him over Lebron.
