Ok, disclaimer: I am very much a casual fan, so take what I say with a grain of salt:
i) Patty's size is an issue. He's short and everyone will be able to shoot over him. He won't be able to defend taller point guards well
ii) Moving Patty to the starting line-up would disrupt our bench play, taking away one of the signature Spurs weapons
iii) I saw Kawhi making very good passes on occasions, but I think he can be a bit of a black hole on offence sometimes. I don't really see him as a point forward, i.e. I think he will be able to create shots for himself, but less so for others.
Anyway, this ****ing sucked. Parker is ofc not the only problem; San Antonio's defensive scheme on the Warrior's shooters implies the use of two bigs. Which is a two-pronged problem, bc i) Lee is a bad defender and Pau is a turnstile and ii) Spurs with two bigs cannot score against GSW.
Just my 5c.
