no one giving the heat any cred now with bosh back hmm...

especially with the thunder dropping the first 2 in SA none of you thought they were even gonna pull that off. I predict this will be way to big a moment for okc

This is going to come down to the fact that OKC has Ibaka/Perk/Coll to pack the paint and the fact that Miami is most effective going small plays right into OKC's hands, who are equally effective with 2 of of their 3 bigs on the floor or with just 1.

Beating Miami comes down to doing three things

(1) stopping their gimmick backdoor sets
(2) defensive rebounding

Miami beat Celtics because they went small with Bosh at 5 and spread out the floor for LeBron to drive at the top of the key. JVG said it about a billion times that help needs to come faster, but he failed to mention that Celtics didn't have the personnel to go big effectively.

There's no way OKC goes small as much as Celtics did, who really did it out of necessity than anything else.

This is an excellent post and sums up why I think OKC will win in 6.

OKC is also on a complete roll with ++momentum, since they just smashed the Spurs in their last 4 straight wins. There is also less pressure on OKC even though they are the "favorites".

I like RWB more than most people do, but not a fanboy or anything. I just don't hate on him. I like KD I think he's got heart and wouldn't mind seeing him come up big in the finals for a championship. I was pretty neutral on harden before this last series but he kinda came off as a little bit of a bitch, to me anyway. I really like Ibaka's shot blocking, one of my favorite defensive players.

As for the Heat, I would actually really like to see Bron come up big and carry his team to a championship, not the other way around. If he plays out of his mind I'll be rooting for him, if he slanks, eff him. Wade seems alright but I've never really been a fan. I've gained some respect for Bosh but I don't feel myself ever cheering him on. The whole Heat bench is blah. Not a fan.

Basically, I'm here for good nba action. I'll be watching closely and I'll be cheering for the team that shows the most heart, soul, and WIM

agreed but sefo/durant>>bass / injured pierce. i also think it's worth noting that boston looked like total **** when kg was out, so i feel like since okc has much better backup bigs than boston does it might not be as big of a difference overall as it seems when you frame it as kg v perk/ibaka. okc are likely to have more succcess offensively than boston did too, so heat will need to be better either way

if sefolosha doesn't play at least 30mpg then lolbrooks for the mirrionff time, they absolutely need to squeeze every minute they can from him to guard wade or labron. but i'm sure he'll find a way to **** it up and play fish for 20mins a night again

Lebron is playing at an unreal level. Heat in 7. No way Stern lets it end in less games.
