Dont think its a gamble at all. I'd of went with him at possibly 2 for sure at 3. Just so easy to build a team around the young do everything big man.

Not sure I agree Dar0. Next year he's probably a top 5-10 player than pretty locky to get into the top 5 after that.

Could be overrating him though.

5 years is the only reason i would take Kiwi over him. Towns at 20 is already a complete player. Hes like Duncan was when he came into the league. He actually has a better PER then Duncan did and Duncan was older. He'll be in the mvp race for 3 of the 5 seasons this is running for sure.

Advanced stats doesn't like him right now, but raw stats are insane

Of course he's going to be great but he doesn't produce many wins this year

You're going to have to be more specific when you say "advanced stats." There are plenty of advanced stats that love him. I'm guessing RPM type metrics don't love him but that's probably more a product of his team being bad than anything. I'll dig into some lineup data later.

def taking kawhi #2 over kd #3 as a hugely necessary gamble due to trajectory and seemingly being an ironman

durant is sickeningly freakish, i'm pretty sure he's the 5th greatest basketballer peak-wise
