Kangz were actually pretty big winners tonight. going from 8 to 5 is pretty great for a team with their needs and they have another top 10 pick in a 10 person draft.

Not till the 2nd round; kinda got ****ed this year by Lakers staying in the top 3.

But next year unprotected Lakers 1st pick in 2018 and Sacto 2019 are unprotected. Both should still suck next year and 2 years from now.

Did he think there was some other option out there where they get no pick?

I would think the team owners would be more likely to insist on it than ESPN, who get a predetermined length show and predictable commercials, and can sell the spot before the top 3 which is $$$.

Why would they not want the NBA to rig it even if they were, anyways?

So lame that the Lakers manage to avoid losing a top 3 protected pick 3 years in a row. My god. Also not happy about the wolves slippin

Kind of amazing to look at the dudes standing up there for the top 3 picks. Philly's up there because they control Sacramento's pick, Boston's up there because they control Brooklyn's pick, and the Lakers are up there because they got lucky and didn't lose their pick. lol bad teams i guess.
