Are there any current NBA players that are pigeon toed? Or slightly

justin patton looks like he has some ok potential, the thing that stands out is that he actually seems pretty skilled/smart despite being kinda raw. on the negative side, he def relies on his athleticism/size advantage at cbb level which will largely disappear in the nba (altho his package is still solid), he doesn't seem to have good defensive instincts/wim, and his shot isn't good yet (altho form seems ok)

to add to my dislike of jarrett allen, i was watching a highlight vid of jonathan motley (dx 35) where he had 32/20 vs allen's team, and directly shat on allen repeatedly who looked like a wimless fraud out there

It appears that he may have been banned and had all his posts deleted.

RIP Wanted.

for later round picks this guy monte morris (iowa st snr) seems like the kind of guy who could stick in the league. has a really great assist/turnover ratio, can shoot decently, has solid size for a pg

Crazy low TOV% for Morris given his scoring/creation responsibilities.

He can definitely be a backup.
I think someone with a need can talk themselves into him at the end of round 1.

Terry Rozier went 16th. But I guess he was younger at the time

could easily be Myles Turner 2.0, people said the same thing about him.

Monte Morris is one of the few upperclassmen who has a solid shot of sticking in the pros. I take him early 2nd at the latest.

Turner ran with a weird gait, but he was a much better shooter and shotblocker than Allen as a prospect. Don't see how Allen measures up to him on either end of the floor.

Giles declares. He definitely should even if he's only a mid first round pick.

Wish his time at Duke could have gone smoother, hope he gets to have a long NBA career.

After that season, it's really hard to picture what giles is in the league.

He cant seem to handle the ball or shoot

I mean, there are a lot of really good NBA players who can't handle the ball or shoot. It's not a prerequisite when you're tall and athletic. And we can't even say with that much certainty "he can't handle the ball or shoot". He played a grand total of 300 minutes this year.

He's as much of a complete mystery box as anyone has been in recent years. Maybe like Thon Maker was a complete mystery box. He had immense hype, and then a disappointing year, but also very valid and reasonable explanations for the disappointing year.

he went to texas, he sucked there, but b/c of his pedigree was still a lotto pick. Basically what Im saying for Allen, not that they are the same players.

Turner was pretty good for Texas. He was funky in a number of ways, but his bottom line production was clearly ahead of Allen:

Turner: 213 WS/40, +8.7 BPM
Allen: .123 WS/40, +5.5 BPM

Then the really key distinction is that Turner's shooting + shotblocking gave him an excellent combination of traits to build on. It's the dream intersection of center strengths.

What does Allen have to build on? It's mostly just low post touch, which isn't that useful in a vaccuum since low post scoring is dying and his awful assist:TOV makes it unlikely he will ever develop into a good passer from the post. His 56% FT means he is unlikely to become a stretch big. Other than that he's soft on D and barely rebounds better than Lauri Markkanen.

His mold is ultimately much closer to Jahlil Okafor. Compare their stats-- Allen is similar or worse across the board. One dimensional scorer is a bad, bad mold for a big man to be in, and the fact that Allen looks like a poor man's Okafor makes it really hard to envision that he becomes particularly useful.

I feel like Giles has to have had a couple teams tell him that if he's on the board at their turn (in the high teens or low 20s) that they're snatching him up.

yeah i just don't see how he can slide into the 20's given his tools and how much the draft falls off a cliff after the lotto.

I'm surprised to see giles listed at 6'11.

When ive seen him, he looks like a modern four. Thus Im disappointed by his lack of shooting and ball-handling.

But I guess he can become more of a versatile 5 or combo big though I dont think he resembles any sort of center.

I thought turner was trash at texas tho, so f me
