it should be easy bc kansas was 28 pt faves and playing the scubbiest of scrubbo teams

fwiw i didn't watch and am not drawing any conclusions, but it certainly pales in comparison to what randle is doing against bad teams (basically jizzing in their mouths and forcing them to swallow) and what parker vs a non completely turbl team.

time to lock in

1. wigigns
2. randle
3. parker

1. wiggins is 100%, parker could steal #2 from randle but is a heavy dog. i'm personally rooting for the bobcats to get the 3rd pick and take exum over parker and then regret it for the rest of their lives.

Exum too good for Bobcats. Bobcats likely to take Doug McDermott with #3.

if we say it's

4. smart
5. exum
6. gordon
7. embiid (shrug. that 3 pt chuck after bricking throws was bad. but toolz i guess)

is there anybody compelling at all?

harrison looks like he could slide. i have a hard time getting excited for gr3 since his dad was such a bust. meh on selden, wcs, dinwiddie. super meh on austin. gary harris, jahii, + montrez harrell might look OK in the 8-13 range if they have solid years. i'm thinking james young might be the guy who emerges as a future all-star at #8 overall.

Wiggins is so sick. Amazing first step, gonna be outstanding defensively. I am impressed

Still keeping with my stance that James Young looks like a prototypical NBA 2. Am I crazy for thinking he kind of reminds me of Brad Beal?

Brad Beal attempts defense.

Wiggins
Parker

gap, then up for grabs. Embiid is certainly the most intriguing, but "toolz" leads us to Anthony Randolph or Deandre Jordan much more often than it leads to, I dunno Andrew Bynum? Having a hard time remembering the last "tools" big guy who turned out.

Randle is going to put up silly numbers, but I wonder about his ceiling at the next level. Been trying to think of a comp, and something like a cross between Sullinger and Corliss Williamson is what I'm thinking.

My reservations on Smart are well documented. If he suddenly starts hitting mid/high 30s from 3, I'll feel better about him.

Exum, who knows anything at this point?

Randle is a better athlete then Sully, Williamson etc. Im thinking a more athletic Z-Bo.

All I took away last night that I'm certain about is that the Harrison twins won't be good.

Yep. Aaron looked awful.

More athletic Sullinger is exactly what I thought last night.. still has some stuff to work on, but he could be very good if he develops this year

How about Webber? Below the rim player who can run offense and sick rebounder on both ends

This. Reminds me so much of zbo in how he can take the contact and still finish. Needs to learn how to shoot a 15 footer. When he can consistently knock that down, he's going to be lethal.

First time ive seen wiggins. Kid is going to be special. Its almost like he's gliding around the floor. That first step is something else. With the new rules in cbb this year, he's going to be unstoppable.

1. Wiggins

Wiggins is just so bouncy, it's freakish. Insane second jump. Think we can fully put to bed any idea that he won't be going #1.

Old Webber, maybe. Young Webber played way above the rim, he was crazy athletic.

Randle most ready Day One for NBA. Parker most upside. Wiggins could be Paul George (MVP worthy yr 4/5) or career 14-4-4 guy.

so parker has greater upside than an mvp worthy player

Wiggins might walk into the league and be better than Paul George. He's being very underrated (not so much here but in general).

bingo. a very fast/athletic z-bo with hints of webber is perfect comp for him. posted that same thing last night. much higher ceiling though.

I like the Webber comp.

Embiid has the best C tools since Oden imo. too bad he wants to hang out on the perimeter

Webber comp for Randle is crazy. Pre injury Webber was a beastly athlete, think more skilled slightly smaller Drummond, that was College Webber.
