What is PEEHS?

If you’ve never played PEEHS, it is basically a fun, free futures contest to be revealed as the season goes along. You submit answers that you think will be correct, but also answered by the LEAST number of other contestants.

The objective is to have the LOWEST score possible after all 25 questions are revealed. As always, incorrect scoring will be the (SHEEP score) + (# of different correct answers).

How do I enter?

Research is allowed, and you can enter or change your entry up until when the games tip off Wednesday, October 26th.

Anyone can enter by sending me a

SINGLE-SPACED, non-numbered pm

with your answers.

Please correctly spell first and last names for players (“Antetokounmpo” lol), and just use team mascots for team questions. All stats are for the 2016-17 regular season, inclusive of the date specified.

You may only use the same player as an answer for up to TWO questions. You may use teams as many times as you want.

In for the battle for last place.

While none of the questions deal with the 25th, the season starts on the 25th. Shouldn't the entries be due on the 25th? To deal with the edge case of a player being injured on the 25th, affecting some people's answers for the season-end questions.

I wanted the first question to deal with the first mostly-full slate of games, so we don't need to lock entries until the first question comes up.

I guess if someone wanted to wait to submit until the very end, they could get some value, but I think that having the later deadline could be good for more entries, which is what we're going for.

It's your comp so up to you I guess, but this is kinda silly. You don't exactly need extreme stuff to happen for the information from the games on the 25th to become super relevant

If those happen then they would count.

So I guess someone could wait til before that Wednesday to submit in the hopes that someone for those questions would become correct in the several few early games, but I'm not too worried about it
