I looked at the stats and they include Sunday's games, but the gap between 8th and 9th seems large enough, and the sample size big enough, that I doubt it changes the results.

Brad Stevens' squad had a stellar defensive rating last season, but I guess Isaiah Thomas is too much of a sieve on that end for them to maintain lofty stats. The Boston Celtics are middle of the pack in points allowed, at 14th.
