Wilt Chamberlain had sex with 20,000 women. We've all heard about that. That's not the surprising sports stat. The most unbelievable sexual exploit in all of sports is that Don Mossi had sex with one woman.

Spoiler:
Without hitting a single

+1

I once heard Don Mossi(due to his oversized ears) described as looking like a station wagon driving straight at you with it's doors open.

And he hits them at a higher percentage than any other high volume guy.
According to that link, Klay Thompson holds the records for 3s in a quarter which is 9. That's an absurd number.

Bonds and Aaron are the two top HR hitters of all time. Without researching how many 50 HR seasons did they have combined?

Spoiler:
one

Bonds would have hit 50+ HR in 4 other seasons if he wasn't walked every 3rd plate appearance.

Why would you say that? Gwynn's ABs are less than 0.04 of the total ABs of the franchise.

Everyone knows about Nolan Ryan's no hitters but he also has 37 games allowing 2 hits or less. Guess what second place for this stat is.

Spoiler:
Jim Palmer 17. 20 shy

Also 5x 75 K's in a month. Only 2 other pitchers have had 1 month with 75 K's(Koufax, Sale)

He also had a famous game in 1974 where he pitched 13 innings, struck out 19, and threw 235 pitches including striking out Cecil Cooper six times while Luis Tiant went 14 1/3 and took the loss in a 4-3 final. Ryan took his next regular start 4 days later and won, pitched 5 days later and won, and 5 days after that threw a 1 hit shut out. He was an animal.

Babe Ruth pitched in 3 World Series games:

3-0 0.87 ERA in 31 innings
(Includes a 14-inning complete game 2-1 win)

In 1920, Ruth led majors with 54 home runs. Second was 19 HR. Second on Yankees was 11 HR. The next year Ruth hit 59, second in majors was 24.

Ruth won 12 HR titles in 14 years.

Ruth led league in HR/RBI/Runs/OBP/Slugging in 5 different years.

Ruth pitched in weirdest combined no-hitter. (He walked first batter then was ejected arguing call and punching the ump, then Ernie Shore retired every batter rest of game.)

Shore also picked off the runner that Ruth had walked, then set down 26 straight, thus did not get credit for a perfect game since he didn't face 27 batters even though he got 27 outs.
