Silva did a great job on his back. He rolled with a lot of those punches and was able to mount a slight offense himself. He certainly didn't take the type of bombs that Skyscraper took in the heavyweight match. He then snuk in the triangle for the win. To be able to keep that weight on you for 4+ rounds and then have the energy to win by submission is impressive imo.

Can't knock Sonnen for his performance either. He left himself open for a split second and then Silva took control with the triangle.

Wow. I almost didn't get this card because I thought it was going to be Silva crushing Sonnen, waste of $, etc, but wow. I haven't felt that much of a rush since the Chuck Liddell fights (Tito, Coutre, Rampage).

Rematch obv, but man do GSP and Silva need to fight.

Ugh, haven't been this upset after a sporting event since the last time (x3) the Bills were on MNF. As soon as I finally believed Sonnen was going to win he gets flash subbed.

easily one of the best fights i have seen... the shocking thing to me was the lack of physical damage on anderson's body/face.... aside from the cherry on his cheek and obvious exhaustion from going basically the distance, he looked completely fine.... where as sonnen looked like he got hit by a truck
