I think it'll be slightly below the Canelo/ODH fights if I had to guess. They were around 2.5, so I'd put O/U on this at like 2.4. (unless they bring a good undercard or something)

Even if it hits it out of the park, don't think it comes close to the 4.5 that Floyd/Pac did.

Could be wrong though. Those talking head shows on ESPN/FS1 will definitely pimp the **** out of it.

I'll take the over 3M buys at evens if you're interested in betting.

The only interesting "results oriented" of the Mayweather Mcgregor fight is , what are gona be the odds from the bookies...

Maybe some money could be made for that fight to happens.
Too many delusional nutz might bet on conor, getting a better score on mayweather...

Here is Dan Rafael's article on his encounter with Mcgregor. Extremly arrogant but a good read none the less:

Chael Sonnen claims he has insider info from a ticket selling company that Conor v Mayweather is on.

As was to be expected.

50% probably wouldn't be too bad if it was like a 60/40 split, thus turning it into 60/20/20 but Floyd probably doesn't want only 60%.

If the Floyd/Pac pie was 350M then let's say this is 250. That would be 150/50/50.

The higher ups at the UFC must have told Dana they want this to happen so they can make a cut. Dana didn't seemed too thrilled at the idea so I doubt he was the one giving the green light.

Anything Dana ever says can be dismissed outright if not used to give credence to the reverse of its content.

Dana probably understands that letting CM fight Floyd isn't good for the UFC long-term as it will make CM an even bigger star than he is thus increasing future leverage and will likely decrease the amount of fights he will do going forward.

But maybe the bean counter WME types are just thinking screw it, 50Ms for doing nothing. We gott jump on this.

stopping in to say that I think people are severely underrating just how big CM/Floyd would be. It would be MASSIVELY bigger than Pac/Floyd(or any fight in history) imo. By the time Pac/Floyd happened, many people had already soured on boxing as a sport. This fight, however, will draw in all the casuals, all the MMA fans, and all the boxing fans(Floyd going for 50-0 is a huge deal in and of itself).

I don't see how it makes McGregor a bigger star if he gets absolutely smashed. Which he will.

If it gets 3-3.5M ppv buys I don't see how it doesn't make him a bigger star. You really think if this fight happens and he gets killed that it will bring him down to earth thus making it easier for the UFC to negotiate with him? Oh and also he'll have 50M+ more in his pocket...

So I completely agree that Floyd will embarress CM but the way Floyd usually boxes it would be by decision? Or are when most of you saying he crushes you think he will knock him the **** out? Cause thatd be awesome.

If he wanted to KO him then he should be able to.

Weird situation for Floyd tho. On one hand you got 3M people tuning in, all the hype, 3rd rd KO may not be giving them their money worth. On the other hand, it would be somewhat embarrassing for 1 of the best boxers of all time to not KO an amateur very quickly.

My guess is Floyd probably compromises on these two things and KOs him somewhere around rd 6-7 but who knows.
