Hunt won rd 2 I think

ring generalship, Lesnar did nothing

and rd 1 wasn't a 10-8 so we should be tied

no?

Agree, 19-19, but brocks winning R3 at the moment.

Thought they both did nothing but wouldn't argue if Hunt got it.

Doesn't matter now after this gnp.

Dull fight, easy call for brock though.

It was dull because Brock was kind of out of shape. Peak in shape Brock probably hulk smashes Hunt on the ground. Think about how he brutalized Carwin and Mir on the ground.

True enough. I never really factored in how out of shape he was. I'm not saying WWE is on the same level as UFC fitness wise but I thought it would still keep him in shape. He was breathless after the fight. He still beat a current top HW though rusty so it's gonna be awesome watching him get back to top form. I hope he wins the belt again to be honest. Glad he's back.

Don't know if I'm impressed with Brock or disappointed with Hunt.... Really expected Brock to get seriously rocked at least once.

Well Brock was backing away most of the fight which is understandable I guess when you're just coming back to fighting and you're in there with a ko specialist.

Brock did a pretty good job of just refusing to engage with Hunt, at all.

Sometimes when a fighter is only *kind of* outclassed, they'll try to stand and trade a little bit before they go for a takedown, rather than just avoiding at all costs. It was almost to Brock's advantage that he was *massively* outclassed on the feet - he clearly had zero illusion about exchanging with Hunt, ever.

Brock was impressive to me and hunt did fine. Honestly the dude is a freak who gets less credit than he deserves because of lolwwe, and health issues at the end of his last run. He is elite at takedowns and huge on top game and especially if you factor in lack of MMA training overall. I do not like him, but he is a real contender. If he can stay healthy I think he takes the belt and holds it for a while. He's a bigger, more powerful and frankly more damaging top gamer than DC who likely doesn't get beat for a while either.

I saw it at 6-1 for going the distance and thought about it for a second then decided i'd quite like to hang on to my money.

It's quite amazing how despite training for MMA, Brock has very little striking skills. His only weapon is to take someone down and then ground & pound / submit them. If he gets sweeped and ends up on his back he'll struggle. A few failed takedowns and he's getting drawn into stand ups where he can't compete.

He's a great athlete and has huge strength. He just looks very one dimensional and you'd think with the money / time he would work on becoming more well rounded.

Miesha looked lost 10 seconds in. Holm vs Nunes would be an awesome match.
