Maybe next Vancouver card will have some more interesting fighters.

Wasn't the main event GSP vs Serra 2?

Yeah, that was the main event. It was a lacklustre card overall though.

I'm just going to try and get twitter tickets for the Vancouver event.

Seriously lacking card.

You guys are out of your minds if you think 115 is a bad card, it may not have any title fights or any of the truely elite fighters but it looks like a very exciting and entertaining card. Neither Liddell or Franklin have ever been in a boring fight, Cro Cop/Barry promises to be an exciting fight, essentially a K-1 fight with MMA gloves, Thiago/Kampmann are top 10 WWs according to Sherdog and Thiago is only 1 or 2 wins away from a title shot. Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunahm has the potential to be fight of the year and the Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel fight will be incredibly entertaining.

People get caught up too much in the big names and don't actually look at the fights. From top to bottom this will be the best UFC card of 2010, to that point.

would not at all be surprised if it wasn't. barry is maybe the worst grappler zuffa has and cro cop needs a win

Don't quite get why Griffin is being saddled with Dunham. seems like he should be fighting bigger game.

When the fight was signed all the big names were tied up except Maynard Sherk was supposed to be fighting Guida, Florian had Gomi, BJ had Edgar and Stevenson fought Sotiropolus. I guess Dana and Joe Silva didn't think Griffin was 1 fight from a title shot so they didn't match him up against Maynard and also when the fight was signed I'm pretty sure they were actually still trying to figure out if either Maynard or Edgar were going to get the title shot.

Dunham is really good though, but I think Griffin may be too tough for him. I'm definitely looking forward to this fight and wouldn't be surprised if they put this fight on Spike to try to sell the PPV.

Because it'll help hype Griffin's next fight when Joe Rogan does a voice-over like, "And in his last fight, Tyson took on undefeated Evan Dunham, who came into the fight a blistering 10-0" while the screen shows Griffin tooling him.

The judging may be even worse on TUF then it is normally. I just don't get how anybody could watch that 2nd round and think Ring won it. I remember last season when Wes Shivers fought James McSweeney, Shivers clearly won the 1st round and there were even 2 occasions where McSweeney turned his back and ran during that round and 2 of the judges gave the 1st round to McSweeney.

i'm really, really hoping that it does good ratings even in ****ty timeslots.

1AM is the normal timeslot, but they do get a good slot for the pre-fight show on saturday.

Good ratings for MMA Live will be very good for the future of MMA on ESPN.

Weigh ins were cool, looks like there is actual genuine dislike between Kimbo and Mitrione, Kimbo better hope being 30 pounds lighter makes him much quicker, and lucky for him Mitrione can't wrestle for ****. Kos continued to make it seem as if he planned on standing with Daley, that will prove to be an awful move if he does that. Really can't wait for Machida/Shogun 2, it's a shame 1 controversial decision and Machida is a hated fighter.

im looking forwrad to this rematch, and i agree it was a shame the decision sucked bad in the 1st, but seriously Machida is hated by who?

when he beat Evans he looked like a real life Bruce Lee and i for one hope he can do the same again.

He was booed heavily at the weighin. Which is pretty consistent with the sentiment on MMA boards that I read.

No one really hates Machida. All his hate stems for the decision in his last fight.

Passed by the Bell Centre at about 4:30 and people are already lined up waiting to get in. Going to be a long night for those guys.

My main card picks for the night...

Machida by decision
Kos by 2nd round sub
Cote by 2nd round TKO
Kimbo by decision
Stout by decision

Like both guys in the main event, so flipped a coin to decide to root for Shogun tonight.
