Ref kinda sucked in the Vancouver match. Felt like it was prob not even a foul much less a yellow on Aird and then the Laba cynical foul to break up a counter should have been a yellow. Really wish MLS would make it a point of emphasis to make that type of foul an auto-yellow.
Hey guys I watch a good amount of Bundesliga and some other euro leagues, I've always followed mls from a far distance but I hope to get into it more as Atlanta 2017 has me excited. I happen to be in town and I'm going to the Orlando city game on Friday night vs fire. Anything to look for player wise? Always better to go into a game with an understanding rather than blindly. I'll do a trip report.
Notable MLS games I've previously attended:
La galaxy first ever game at rose bowl (put in Billy! Andrew shue)
David beckhams first lag game vs Chelsea (he got like 15 min)

^ still no Kaka, but apparently Nocerino is planning on playing Friday
and of course be on the lookout for the 2015 ROY Cyle Larin
- Philly MF Mo Edu out 3-4 months
- Portland sign MF Jack Barmby on loan from Leicester City, he any good?
- NYCFC add Colombian FW Stiven Mendoza on loan from Corinthians
- SKC sign Chilean FW Diego Rubio as YDP on loan from Real Valladolid
- some speculation that Seattle could be up to something after the Martins move, made a few more minor moves recently, including adding an international roster spot & TAM from TFC
Disappointed to lose Edu for 3 months. Hopefully Alberg is game fit this weekend. Would like to see him and Vincent Nogueira split the 6/8 with an attacking 3 of Pontius, Ilsinho, and Fernandes in the attacking 3.
Losing 0-2 to Dallas was about what I expected. Would like to see a draw vs Columbus, but a loss is expected. Still feel with Barnetta and Edu, the Union can make the playoffs.
Man, if NYCFC is good at anything it's getting loanees from big name SA clubs. Getting kids from Boca Juniors and Corinthians is a good look.
Seattle is absolutely going to be doing something. MLS has a crazy long transfer window and it's almost all in-season (Feb 18 - May 11, July 4 - Aug 3) so I guess it could theoretically come at any time. Will be interesting to see what position they look to upgrade since it feels like not-the-backline is pretty set outside of depth and grabbing a defender DP isn't the sexiest move in the world.
