I drove from Westchester, hit no traffic on a Friday evening which was super shocking.
I've watched <5 MLS games in my life, just really starting to get into soccer in general the past three years. Watched 1-2 EPL matches per week this past season. Logically I'd support Red Bulls in MLS. I think I will get into it.
And now TFC signs Celtic and Ireland defender Darren O’Dea. If there was any chance Marty wouldn't stop by to provide some information on the previous question while taking the opportunity to bash Rangers, that chance has evaporated.
good signing for Toronto, i'd have liked him back at Celtic for last season as he was no worse than some the poor CB's we already possess and he is one of our own.
previous question would be a fee for players leaving old rangers? i think what Green/Sevco have claimed has proven to be bollocks because at least 5 players left for free. They supposedly got money for Davis from Southampton.

Edu looks to be away to Ipswich and Bedoya is away to Helsingborgs. Bocanegra must need his head looked at if he stays in div3.
nice win by Vancouver over RSL. 0-0 at the half, a bit of fortune in the 2nd as a clearing attempt by a defender deflected right to Camilo in the box, and he slotted home nicely. recent acquisition Dane Richards added a nice 2nd goal curling it around a defender from outside the box. RSL got one back very late, but not enough.
random thoughts:
- so this Espindola guy is one of the biggest divers in the league, eh? makes sense given he's an Argentine...
- this Paul Ward clown made my list of refs i hate, turns out he's from Vancouver? lulz. dude was awful, bought everything Espindola was selling, meanwhile bitching out ppl like Camilo for equally crappy dives (and calling time to get into the face of Caps manager Rennie). also denied Vancouver a clear PK in the 1st half, seemed like he went way over the line to prove that he wasn't playing favourites with the hometown team. good job, good effort. if it's gonna be like that, just don't let refs call games involved the teams where they're from, or which they support.
most recently with Leeds, but before that Bolton, Pompey, Newcastle, etc also 26 caps for Ireland. he any good, does he have anything left? came on today as a sub after Jay DeMerit was forced off with a suspected concussion after going head to head with his keeper.
not seen or heard much of him for quite a while, was a decent defender in his time with Newcastle but i'd imagine he is winding down his time now, should still be capable of holding his own.
others would be way better qualified to talk about him, ask in the PL thread.
Steven Lenhart never disappointments. What an amazing game @ Buck Shaw tonight. Looked like we were going to drop the three points, then Lenny puts one away. Loved it. Never say die(our motto)!
