The offense isn't going to be a problem, and I fully expect the defense to get back to somewhere near how good they were last year (can't back this up with stats but I suspect that this is the reason in the large difference between ERA last year and this despite similar xFIP numbers, defense not as other worldly as last year).

I expect them to win the central, but with ~15 fewer wins.

I don't make long term bets here, mainly because there is a good chance I get banned or this site disappears before it plays out.

But when the playoffs come around I will wager they get bounce in the DS.

Going back to earlier example, Should I be embarrassed that two pieces of **** attacked someone because it was at the stadium of my favorite team? Not like they were serious baseball fans. Buying a ticket to an event with tens of thousands of other people doesn't make you representative of millions.

What if Machado was the guy in question, with all the **** between he and the Red Sox lately? I would hate it as a sports fan to see the fans give him an ovation.

Boston fans were trying to rattle him when he was warming up in the bullpen during Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS by taunting him, bringing up some of his family members that died in an electrocution/swimming pool accident earlier that year.
